This chair, one that can be deemed royal, is a sculpture crafted from the absolutely unique root wood of a centuries-old thuja tree. Thuja, a type of cedar wood found in the region of Essaouira in Morocco, has been traditionally utilized by artisans in this city for marquetry work. However, crafting a chair of this magnitude from a cedar root is an unprecedented feat. You will find no equivalent to this online. This particular cedar tree, likely centuries-old as thuja trees are not large, provided one of the finest artisans the opportunity to sculpt this major work of art.
