2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- The item must be in its original packaging, with all tags and labels attached.
- You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
- The return must be initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Custom-made or personalized items.
- Items purchased on clearance or sale.
- Gift cards.
- Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or accidents after delivery.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact Us: Email us at contact@theexceptionalfurniture.com within 14 days of receiving your item. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Return Authorization: Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return instructions.
- Packaging: Securely pack the item(s) in the original packaging and include the RMA number inside the package.
- Shipping: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item(s). We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
5. Inspection and Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return criteria. After the inspection:
- If the return is approved, we will process a refund to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
- If the return is not approved, we will notify you by email, and the item will be sent back to you at your expense.

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.
7. Damaged or Defective Items

8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
